Another one bites the dust

 I just witnessed LinkedIn come one step closer to being the sewer that is traditional social media.  LinkedIn has somehow managed to stay above the fray of pettiness with their professional network spin on a song called Facebook.  I'm so sick of reading titles like "transformational leader" or "holistic leader" or whatever other bullshit that has to do with DEI or ESG that is all the rage.  

But today...  today was epic!  Apparently it's become public knowledge that the former chipotle ceo is now the new Starbucks ceo and he gets to fly a private jet to and from work 3x a week.  He lives in Newport Beach CA or something.  At any rate - all the Starbucks drinkers feel betrayed that their cherished green, environmentally conscious company is flying an executive in a private jet when they're forcing their customers to use paper straws and compostable cups.  And all these morons on LinkedIn took the bait to bitch and moan about Starbucks and the ceo and the carbon footprint and yadayadayada.   I'd like to take a moment to welcome LinkedIn to the gutter of social media.  Nice work everyone.

Now Starbucks is getting all this negative press about the environment and the corporate hypocrisy - having no integrity when it comes to the environment.  blahblahblahblah...

The peasants will get bent and the elite will continue to live their lives while maintaining their ESG credentials while the big boss commutes via Gulfstream jet...  while the peasants are blamed for everything wrong in society and the environment.  When it's the corporations that are destroying all of it.  

When are the peasants going to realize "they" think we're the problem.  It's driving back and forth to work and eating meat.  Or whatever.  Nobody gives a shit about the peasants.  And peasants, you are just an instrument that allows the ruling class to carryon business as usually.  While we are demonized for drinking the shitty 10 dollar cup of coffee and driving a car from home to work..  You don't see them taking the drive thru window out of Starbucks do you?  They don't care.  And you're stupid for thinking they do care.  But hey - at least the coffee cup isn't made out of plastic.  Neither is the straw.  And everyone hates it.

This entire scenario is one dark comedy.  And it's hilarious.  Drive your car.  Drink your coffee.  Eat meat.  Take the cruise.  Fly in the plane.  And all the mentally ill enviro-terrorists - keep cheer leading the green movement.  It's all bullshit anyways.  And the power players will tax the shit out of your carbon footprint while they do whatever they want.  Peasants vs the ruling class.  Why can't people see the facade?  NO ONE CARES.

For whatever reason - I am completely entertained by all of it.  Why?  Because all of it is bullshit and thinking it's anything other than bullshit is naiveté or wishful thinking.  None of it matters.  It never did.  It never will.  The planet will become a god forsaken wasteland.  It will look a lot like Wall-E when all is said and done.   Humans will be extinct and there will be nothing left but piles of garbage.  Everywhere.  

What a riot.  The entire situation is laughable.  Where's greta thundburg when we need her?

And now people are starting to post political commentary. And some are whining about LinkedIn etiquette and decorum on social media. There is no decorum on social media. It just took everyone on LinkedIn longer to figure that out than the rest of us. Real men of genius. And also women. And the alphabet freaks. Include all people. Diversity. Equity. Inclusion. People expect so much from others and they will be consistently disappointed.  You can tell the eggheads er professionals on LinkedIn don’t interface with the general public much. Enjoy your office with a view. Losers.  

WHO

 The world heal organization is declaring monkey pox as a world health emergency.  They're changing the name to mPox to protect who?  The monkeys?It is a disease primarily affecting homosexual and bisexual men.  That hardly qualifies as a world health emergency.  If your lifestyle puts you at risk for certain diseases, maybe that's God's way of telling you your lifestyle choices are bad.  Same with AIDS.  Men should stop sticking their dirty dicks it dirty holes they don't belong - then they wouldn't have to worry about these problems.  And the demonic World Health Organization wouldn't be trying to stir concern among normal healthy people and people that have relations between men and women.  Not some promiscuous orgy.   The WHO and all the homo friendly organizations should start giving await butt plugs.

But seriously - if your lifestyle choices put you at risk for certain diseases, maybe you should reconsider how you're living your life.

Reagan

 The Reagan movie comes out tomorrow.  I've been eagerly waiting to see it since I saw something on line about it a month or two ago.  And...  I don't know if I am going to see it.  Why?  I don't particularly like Dennis Quaid.  I don't like looking at him and I don't like his voice.  Makes watching his work difficult.  But... whatever...  Who cares?  We'll see if I can get motivated to attend the movie house.

Surrogate

 So.. on the people of anytown usa group there are two gay guys seeking a surrogate woman to impregnate with their sperm so they can have a kid.  Compensation indicated to the tune of $50,000 plus all medical expenses.  That borders on being considered a puppy mill for humans.  They want to have a kid.  They want to be parents.  They don't want to adopt a kid but want a kid of their own.  But the child won't be their own.  It will be part of the surrogate - AKA mother - forever. The mother will also be part of the kid and the kid will always be part of the mother.  Not sure about the quality of candidate to be had on people of any town usa groups, but hey - they might get lucky.  That's suck a risky proposition.  What if the lady wants to keep the kid after she has it.  She's being used - whoops - compensated for the use of her womb.  Just a business transaction.  I wonder if they're open to a surrogate with tattoos?  A lesbian couple?

There wasn't a mean comment in all the responses.  People were extremely supportive and interested in helping.  

Should gay people have the opportunity to be parents?  To another human?  There's a reason it takes a man and a woman to make a baby and to bring new life into this world.  Because it's a fundamental natural law.  Same sex couples should get started with a dog.  We got started with cats before we had kids.  Maybe they already have a pet and they're bored - ready for the next logical challenge?

Two people who love each other want to start a family.  Is it any different for same sex couples?  Is it any different that two people having a kid out of wedlock.  The two state they are married.  

Cognitive dissonance.  My mind is blown.  How does one reconcile a conservative mindset in modern times.  The world has changed.  Should that change be embraced or rejected?  Live and let live?  

I don't know - like parenting is a gift from god to a man and a woman.  Not a man and a man and a woman.  

I shoulda been born in the 50s - then I'd be on my way out sooner, rather than later.

FroYo Places

 My wife wanted to celebrate national dole whip day.  She found a yogurt shop that had it in their flavor rotation.  We went and had some.  Well, she had dole whip.  The rest of us had frozen yogurt.  Which was a nice experience.  Getting to serve your own yogurt and put toppings in the bowl to your liking.  It was reasonably in expensive.  Like 23 dollars for all of us to get a little something.

Yesterday we went to a different fro yo place.  Me and my wife got some.  The kids didn't want any.  It was 21 dollars for two people. Like WTF?  At the other place it was 23 dollars for 4 people.  Here it's 21 dollars for 2 people.  This new place didn't let you handle the toppings yourself.  They did it.  Like WTH?  And they charged 75 cents for whip cream.  The other place it was included in the weighed price.

This new place was probably owned by a miser or an Indian person.  Only a miserly person would charge extra for whip cream because it doesn't weigh enough to count.  Either that or someone like Donald Trump.  Trump would probably weigh the spoon too.  Kamala would make me pay for it and give it to the person behind me.

BMOC

 My oldest is now a senior in college.  Class of 2025.  Gig'em!  This was also the first time we didn't take him to Aggie land.  He decided - for the first time - that he wanted his car.  It seems a little weird to send him away with a hug and a full tank of gas.  As he pulls out of the driveways and makes the two hour trek to his apartment.  Normally taking him to school is a family event and we load the car and move everything, make sure he's situated and take him out to eat for the start of the semester.  

Last night we ate at one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate him.  Today, it's a little weird.  He left.  The spot where his car parks will be empty.  His car has been parked in the same location since he was a sophomore in high school.  

I hope his education has prepared him for entry into the work force.  I hope his work ethic is strong.  His mother and I had different ideas about how he should spend his summers.  I won once.  She won twice.  The kids today don't look at work the same way us old folks do.  For us we live to work.  For them they work to live and want everything on their terms and their schedule.  We'll see how that pans out.

Anyway, the house is a little emptier and a little quieter.  

His Mom's advice to him was be careful.  My advice to him was don't be stupid.  He's a smart kid - a fine young man.  Cheers to Z!

What's going on

 My writing is agitated as of late.  

It's like I'm what Barack Obama would call a old, poor white person clinging to their guns and religion.  

I call it clinging to common sense and decency.  There is so much evil running rampant in the world.  It's everywhere.  What people are doing to their body's with piercings, tattoo and genital mutilation.  People convinced they are not the same sex/gender they were born with.  Even thinking this can change or is fluid is beyond reproach.  The music people listen to.  The things they idolize.  The incessant drinking and partying.  The proliferation of mind altering drugs.  It's just a different time and I don't want to be part of it. 

The world is changing.  I don't like it.  I don't understand why this change is being embraced?  Or maybe not embraced but ushered in against the will of normal people.  Not in control of any of it and I don't like it.

It's like there is no intellectual honesty in any of this new stuff.  Everything being brought forth from society is being done through deception.  This includes gender issues, political policy, international policy, etc.  We're being gaslit on so many fronts.  It all started with that little covid virus.  And once that gained traction, those in power never looked back.  

Maybe existence is one giant deception.  Reality.  What is that?  We create our own reality.  Yet my reality is different from your reality.  Which reality is true.  All they all true?  Who are we to question another's reality?  We must not understand but merely accept the reality of others.  Like trans people.  But yet if are in agreement are we sharing a reality?  

The rock group styx had a song called "Too much time on my hands."  Is that what I've got?  To be thinking about and writing about all this "stuff."  Stuff that makes no difference to anyone.  What a waste.

Man in black

 I have a black suit.  It's seen a lot of events in my life.  Concerts, graduations, funerals, interviews, promotions, award ceremonies and the like.  It's seen me skinny and fat and everything in between.  It's seen happy events and sad events.  Moments of pride and moments of loss.

 Grace to you which passes your understanding.  My first question is....  What happened in Norway?!?!  This nutjob rents a truck, loads it up with fertilizer (my people tell me it was Scott's Turf Builder), some diesel fuel and a detonating device...  Drive it to a building and KaBoom!  Not like the playground KaBoom! but the KaBoom KaBoom.  Mayhem everywhere.  Body parts flying around, etc...  Another OKC type event.  Remember lost child McVey - I think McVey and Breivik were having conversations from the Dark Side. 

Then Breivik goes to Fantasy Island to shoot up a bunch of vacationers, tourists and campers.  SO not cool.  Last I heard it was a lot of people shot up....  Mr. Roarke is not a happy camper.  Neither am I.  Kind to think of it... I don't know who's more upset - me or him.  Why is it these nutjobs have such issues with the government and the "religious right?"  I mean seriously.....  Which brings me to my next topic of discussion.

Did you know Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield along with Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins have many flavors of ice cream?  So many that they can't even make them all at the same time, nor do they want to.  Some of them were outright horrible.  Have you been to Ben and Jerry's little creamery in Vermont?  They have a graveyard full of flavors that pretty much sucked.  So they don't make them anymore.  Burt and Irv have all sorts of great flavors, but their display case freezers only hold 31 flavors.  Actually, that's impossible because the freezer is two deep, meaning they gotsta have to 32 flavors.  Maybe they're counting the new soft serve in the Taylor machine on the counter?  I dunno.  Kinda think of it, in his later years, Burt grew a little flavor saver (Jerry had one long before he started making ice cream).  The reason for this was all about the sampling of the latest concoctions.  Say for example, they came up with a peanut butter blend of ice cream.  They'd get some dribble on the flavor saver to same after dinner to see how it 'finished off' meals.  Worked out rather well.  

Less I digress.....

All these people worship me.  Then there are the other people (if you can call them that) gung ho on that Allah guy - what a loser.

So my worshippers.  We've got this Tower of Babel thing going on.  All these different variations on a theme by Jesus.  There's some story added to my self help guide for successful living about the tower eventually falling because there was conflict between the variations - kinda like playing Jenga with Jesus?!?!  

Well brothers and sisters...  I'm here to tell you I and my movement are best compared to ice cream.  My ADD is acting*SQUIRREL*up.  Argh.  Ice cream.  The believers love the stuff.  Some of my franchisor's serve it and it's a hit with everyone, especially the fatties and the kids.  Some of them should start eating frozen yogurt.  

Dangit.  Less I digress..

Ice cream.  It's all about ice cream.  I got my own truck.  Do you like it?  I do.  Well, except for the melted cone on the roof....

See - all ice cream is made with a foundation of creme, milk, eggs, sugar and some butter.   Whip it together with some flavoring, freeze and wahlah...  Icecream.  You can add nearly everything into the foundation to make a new flavor.  Like mangos and vanilla wafers mixed with black licorice for example.  It may be yucky to some, but the flavor has a cult like following.  Go figure.  

Here's the thing.  My movement is a lot like a bowel....  Oops, I mean bowl...  I don't care what flavor you're eating just as long as the base is solid.  Creme, milk, eggs and sugar.  Or in my case, peace, love and forgiveness.  If you got the basics, you can't go wrong.  The basic ingredients make it (and me) what it is.  Get it?!?!

Now if you go somewhere and they're trying to pawn off Gelato.  I hate to tell you.  Gelato is not ice cream.  It is lacking a key ingredient...  Butter.  See - someone altered my base and it doesn't even resemble what it started out to be.  Let's be clear...  Gelato is NOT ice cream.  Gelato is a cold, fluffy, whipped hot steamy mess.  If you're looking to play with fluffy and whipped, use whipped cream.  Katy and I love playing with the stuff - as do most couple looking to spice things up.  

So, the gist of our conversation is I don't care what flavor of ice cream you eat.  Just as long as you eat me Ice cream made with pureness.

Disney Legend

John Williams was selected to be a Disney Legend for 2024.  He wasn't able to attend the ceremony due to ongoing health issues.  As of this morning, John Williams has cancelled all concerts on his schedule. All of them.  Days for anyone his age are numbered.  Thankful for his contributions to our world and all the enjoyment his work has given me.  My favorite artist.  My musical soul mate.  He completes me.  It's as if he understands how my brain works and writes music in a way I completely understand and enjoy.  He is a person I love and I've never met him.  I know him but we are strangers.  It's a weird relationship for sure.  

Back to his selection as a Disney Legend.  John Williams only composed music for one Disney film.  The BFG, directed by Spielberg.  He didn't work on any other movie for Disney.

What he did do was write the music for the complete Star Wars saga and all the Indiana Jones films.  But those assets were acquired when Disney bought lucasfilm and all that came with it.

If you ask me, Disney appropriated John Williams work from those who commissioned it.  Disingenuous to take credit for and recognize work he did for someone else.  Not Disney.  Disney wasn't involved in the production, creative meetings or anything else.  They didn't pay him to do any of it.   They're riding on his coat tails.

I love that they want to recognize and celebrate him and his work.  This award lacks authenticity and genuineness.  It's a rubber stamp of approval.  Other fans share the same sentiment.

People of any city USA groups

These Facebook groups are full of idiots.  The questions people ask are ridiculous and the people that answer these posed questions are trying to be do gooders.   Like figure it out by yourself.  You aren't entitled to the information residents have cultivated over decades of living somewhere.  Don't appropriate the things it's taken years to learn.  You need to figure out the bad places before you get to know the good places.  Discover the community yourself - the way we did it back in the day.  

Where's the best seafood place that not expensive?  How about Red Lobster.  The real place is Walt's Fish Market.

A nice Italian restaurant?  Olive Garden.  You don't get to know Reale's without discovering it yourself.

I need an attorney to draw up a will.  Recommendations please.  Do your own research and educate yourself by doing something more than throwing a question to the rest of us.  

Where's a good place to take my wife for our anniversary?  Hey dickwad try McDonalds.  

Where's a good place for auto repair that's not too expensive.  Go to MIDAS and get dicked and try somewhere else until you eventually find a place like charlies.  

You don't get this information because you ask for it.  It's a right of passage and you earn it by being a member of the community and exploring it yourself.  Not by freeloading off of and cherry picking the experience of others.  It takes years to integrate and become a member of the community.  You're not entitled to the best a community has to offer without finding it yourself.  Like we did.  Cultural mooch.

And all these people genuinely answering this questions to be helpful and experts in their community should shut up when they complain that they used to be able to walk in and get seated relatively quickly at their favorite Italian place and now the wait is consistently 45 minutes to an hour.  You did that. 

If you cared about the integrity of the community you'd keep your knowledge to yourself.  DOn't bitch about how good the way things used to be.

Insider information is shared among friends and not broadcasted over the internet for free.  That's what advertising is for.  There's a price of admission to be in the know about the community you live in.  It's called time and planting roots in a community so one day you can enjoy the experience of the fruit the tree bears.   

Cheap people too lazy to figure things out themselves. Freeloading, lazy sons of bitches.  GTFAH.

Pollution

 Most people think of pollution as environmental pollution.  The trash on the side of the road on in the oceans.  The 'green house' gases emitted by burning fossil fuels.  The noise that seeps through walls in an indoor environment.  The jack hole in the car next to you with bass so loud it vibrates your body.  There's light pollution - when the city lights make it difficult to see stars in the sky.  These forms of pollution are relatively trivial.

The pollution everyone should be thinking about are the ones with a direct affect on your well being.  The things that enter our body and mind.  Think of pollution as all the processed food we eat - the ding dongs, potato chips.  The liquids we drink such as soda, coffee, tea and anything containing alcohol.  The negative thoughts we let into our minds.  The propaganda from the supposed news media that we fester on.  The pornography easily available via the internet.  What we listen to.  What we watch.  What we meditate on.  Pollution is everywhere.

The best way to lead a happy and successful life is to realize the amount of pollution bombarding us from every direction.  Resilience to turn away from pollution builds character.  The ability to question what we're told instead of blindly accepting what we're told.  Striking the balance on when to comply and when to forge your own path and disregard authority.  Being able to discern right from wrong.  Know when to stand strong and knowing when to comply.

It comes down to using your brain and the ability to think.  Stand strong.  Know when something doesn't feel right, it's probably wrong.  And knowing that sometimes something that feels good is bad.  Knowing that what's popular doesn't necessarily mean it right.  And what right is not always popular.

I think and comment a lot about social issues and cultural trends.  I firmly believe that trends such as tattoo, gender issues, politics and policy positions are the work of demons.  Being ushered upon us through manipulation and deception.  Those that accept whatever nonsense is pushed in front of them are incapable of thinking for themselves.  They blindly comply.  They go where the wind blows them.  They lack moral strength and conviction.  They are weak. They compromise themselves by falling victim to the abundance of bad propaganda.  

Think about traditional sex/gender roles.  Like it or not, they set the foundation for the social order.  Look at the social chaos that is a result of traditional family values being shouted down.  Look at the decline of the family.  The decline of institutions.  The rise of individual collectivism - is that a thing??  It's a conundrum.  It's cognitive dissonance.  Whatever.  Who cares.

The Paris Olympics

There is nothing for humanity to be proud of from this years Olympics. It was nothing more than a freak show. Starting with the opening ceremony and wrapping up with Tom Cruise.

Mess

What a mess.  Since my Mom was in the hospital on Aug 5 she has fallen 3 more times and was in the hospital again on Saturday.  She fell again tonight.  Was walking around with out her walker, lost her balance and hit the wall.  She is becoming a hazard to her own well being.  She either doesn't remember to use her walker or thinks she doesn't need it or whatever.  I don't know.  It's getting frustrating. 

I think we're at the point where we are going to get her a wheelchair with a tray attached to the front of it.  That way she has to stay seated.  I don't know how this will work for toileting - but we can't have her falling down all the time.  She'll break something one of these times and that's the end.

When I visited her in the hospital this last time, she had no idea why she was there.  I informed her she fell and based on the hit, we didn't know if her shoulder was broken.  She looked at me and thanked me for telling her.  The body should not outlast the mind.  Thanks to modern medicine it does.  Way to go geniuses.  

I cannot even fathom my parents living in their old house.  What a mess.

My Dad sent me the video from her fall in a text.  It infuriated me.  Like WTF am I supposed to do about this?  In our telephone call following I told him not to send those to me and just call me.  

So..  we got a strategy.  We had my mom discharged from home health care and are having physical and occupational therapists evaluate her.  By discharging from home health care, she will be able to get more intensive PT - 5 times a week.  Hopefully she will build some strength for her stability.  But how's that going to work if she's in a wheelchair?  Are we kicking the tin can down the road?  Will therapy even be beneficial for longer that 10 minutes if she has no short term memory?  How is she going to retain the information they tell her and the movements their trying to train her to do?  

My moms teeth are getting rotten because they've always been a problem but I think she stopped brushing them.  She was supposed to have dental work done numerous times over the years but she'd always find a reason to cancel.  Sane with her messed up feet.  She's got bunions.  Bad.  And the little piggy that stayed home is on top of the piggy that went to market.  Shoes never fit her feet right.  Now her feet look like hooves.  She never had that fixed either.  I blame my Dad for letting her cancel all these procedures.  At the same time she's an adult and needs to care for herself.  

I wonder how long she's had dementia and it was concealed?  Conversations with my mom went in endless circles when I was in high school.  I thought it was weird.  And embarrassing at church. Something must have been wrong back then but I just thought that's the way mom is.  My Mom was a creature of habit and literally did the same things the exact same way all her life.  She never did anything new.  Never did anything different.  Kind of a recluse. And at the same time she was the kindest and gentlest person I know with the most intense exceptions.  I have a few bad memories when she became an enraged lunatic and literally dragged me from the garage into the house and slammed my head against the garbage can in the kitchen while she was screaming at me like a raging lunatic for something I did.  Kids shouldn't fear for their lives.  Or the time she lost her shit and literally beat my ass with a wooden spoon.  Or the time I said something out of line to her and she dragged me across the house and washed my mouth out with soap.  Or the few times she threw a glass across the kitchen while all of us were fighting on Sunday mornings before church.  She was ALWAYS late and I hated it.  But there we were sitting in church wearing our Sunday best having just had a war in our house.  Like what was all that?  Growing up in the 70s and 80s wasn't a picnic.  That's for sure.  And people wonder why Gen X is so screwed up and incapable of expressing any other emotion besides anger?  

My Dad was raised by two alcoholics.  I was raised the son of an alcoholic but my Mom and Dad didn't drink.  Don't know a lot about my moms upbringing.  Never seemed off during our family visits - but something had to happen to my mother to make her kinda crazy.

Family abuse runs through generations.  I agree with that.  I was out of line with my son once and it terrified him and me.  I don't know if he remembers.  I don't know if it ruined him.  It is one of the few things in my past I am completely ashamed of and I'll carry that shame to the grave.

After the incident with my son I vowed to never do anything like that to another person again.  I'm proud to say I kept that promise.  By instinct I think humans raise their offspring the way they were raised.  Hopefully each generation tries to do better.  As I think about it, I believe it takes 2-3 generations to right the ship with a lot of hard work and the intention of doing better than was done to me.  

Apartments

Driving up and down the interstate and it's littered with apartment communities.  They're getting taller and denser with more buildings.  They're so close together there isn't enough parking for all the residents.  Probably part of the plan to force people into public transportation.  I've already written about how dense human populations are disgusting to me.  All the poop and pee - where does it go?  Yuk...

But driving today, another thought struck me about apartment complexes.  THey're really cages for humans.  Like a prison.  And the apartment collector collects people and keeps them in cages.  Now I know how a chicken in a coup must feel.  This is all part of the plan.  Monthly expenditures for life.  Own nothing.  Don't drive.  Fuck you.  I think this is being done on purpose.  

Corporations buying residential homes.  Part of the plan.  Own nothing.  Pay rent forever.  Fuck you.

I hate our economy.  I hate our government.  I don't like the way our country works on many levels and I don't know what would be better than what we have.

There are too many people in this world that have made poor decisions in the past and now want someone else to fix the problem they're in.  Personal accountability is a thing of the past.  Be a fuck up and expect someone else to bail you out.  I don't get it.

Another pisser?  Subscription services.  For TV, Music, Movies, boxes of stuff, features on your car, whatever.  Mazda is making you pay a subscription to have remote start on your car.  Too fuckin' lazy to get in and start it yourself?  Don't want it to be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.  What a bunch of pansies.  Rent everything.  Own nothing.  It's better for the environment.  It makes more money for the company.  Once again... fuck you.

I read something that said not taxing tips would cost the government 250
Billion dollars. Like what's wrong with these brain dead zombies. While they're not collecting taxes on tips, why should I continue to pay taxes on my income? I don't give a shit what it costs the government. All they do is steal from the working class, pander to the upper class and give shit away to the lower class. Bastards.

Fruit

My favorite fruits are melons. Cantaloupe is good. Honeydew not so much. But my favorite is watermelon. Preferably seedless. It helps with dehydration and headache. It tastes good. Mmmmmm. Watermelon.

Quality of life

 I've been thinking.  I don't think my life is much improved since taking new job.  I guess the good thing is I got a normal sleep pattern.  Other than that it is one problem after another or chasing metrics.  Constantly a work in progress.  It's not particularly fulfilling or satisfying.  Should have stuck to the original plan.  At least I'd be working a larger operation and living in a place I love.  

At this point 2024 will go down as a year of disappointment.

 Miss Hailey Welch... become an overnight social media sensation by doing some interview with a parasite at bar where she said something stupid acting like she's some wild thang slut.  The video rocketed her to 15 minutes of fame.  She's getting quite a bit of mileage out of that brief moment in time.

Miss Hailey is doing to podcast and social media scene.  She's going to concerts and going to parties and selling hats and whatever else she's doing.  She seems unusually authentic. Strangely innocent with a dirty mind.  I don't know.

But what I do think is weird is all these interviewers swarming around her like a bunch of vultures waiting to take her down to the underworld of social media.  Something doesn't feel right about people ask her about her views on sex, partying, other people, drugs and whatever else they ask her.  It feels one step away from being sleazy.  In my opinion the interviews are very uncomfortable to watch.  Like a respectful workplace seminar gone sideways.  Like then they show you what not to do.

The girl was out drinking and said something stupid and has rocketed to fame because of it.  Leave her alone.

Here's a better idea - stop cutting down all the trees.  Incentivize the planting of trees and the preservation of green space.  Maybe governments should stop selling their souls for a dollar.  And stop spending more than they have.  They cannot continue to tax the population to support their spending addiction.  Pretty soon the economy is going to disintegrate because inflation will be so high, people are already over taxed and there won't be any money left to keep the economic engine running.  What the economy stalls out, society as we know it is done.

THey'll start excessively taxing any behavior they don't like.  California is whining and complaining about declining fuel tax revenues and not being able to repair the roads so now they want to move to a per mile tax.  Seriously?  What did they thing would happen?  The roads were going to fix themselves with all these electric cars causing more damage to the road system?

 

Language

 Whenever I hear someone speaking their native language other than English, it sounds like a stream of gibberish.  A nonstop stream of unusual sounds.  I am sure that's how English sounds to non-english speakers.  Just sounds...

It's fascinating the human brain is able to break the stream of sound into chunks which become recognizable words - way before one can read.  Sounds become words with meaning.  

One of the wonders of the human mind.  Not fascinating enough to want to learn about it but fascinating in a way that the mind is able to process these things without ever having a reference.  A computer can break sounds into words because it has a reference library.  Not the human mind.  It just parses the sounds - how does the brain decipher said sounds and learn to assign meaning to them.  Then we are able to assign visual symbols to the sounds through letters to make written word and we are able to spell the same sounds differently to give them meaning and context.  There.  Their. They're.  Waive, Wave.  Better yet bass is a sound and bass is a fish but base is a foundation or a baseball plates on the points of a diamond.  Straw is hay or a plastic tube used to suck liquid from a cup or can to the mouth.  You get the idea.

Unfortunate

 There is something drastically wrong when our household income is higher than it has ever been before.  Yet we have less spending power.  First world problems.  Vacation to see family traveling by car.  No vacation destination.  No air travel.  No theme park.  

Fuck Bidenomics.  That stupid son of a bitch has ruined our economy.  And maybe he isn't stupid.  That was his plan all along?  I don't know. 

Now beginning to realize that the left wing and the right wing are part of the same bird.  Doomed we are.

No consistency

There's no consistency with someone suffering from dementia. Sometimes you think they're one step away from death and the next day there are lucid moments and things seem stable. What's a guy to do?

Medicare Fraud

 I went to the hospital to see my Mom.  She was sitting in a chair and the neck brace was off.  This makes on sense to me.  If this woman has broken vertebrae in her neck then why isn't she in a brace.  I mentioned to the nurse that NO ONE from her medical team has reached out to tell us exactly what's wrong with her or what the course of treatment will be.  The nurse reviewed her chart with me and said the vertabrae fractures in her neck were old based on the MRI information.  OK...  Then why is mom still here?  I don't know?  I need to talk to the dr.   They weren't available.  I asked for the charge nurse and waited for an hour and a half before finding her at the desk.  

Later in the day one of the doctors called me.  They are waiting for internal medicine to release my mom.  Why?  She had a bump on the head.  There's nothing wrong with her internally.  Then was told speech therapy and physical therapy will be doing an assessment and ordering any therapy needed that can be done at their residence.  

This smells like medicare fraud to me.

I wonder

If the economy is forcing more kids to sign up for choir instead of band or orchestra?  Musical instruments have always been expensive, but not this expensive.  Everyone has a voice.  It's by far the least expensive performing art to participate in. The 

Here we go

 I got a call last night that my mother fell again and was being transported to the hospital.  Got a text around 3am that everything was looking okay and she should be transported back to the nursing home.  I called my Dad this morning and my mom still had not returned.  Went to the hospital and my mom is still in the emergency room sleeping with some kind of brace around her neck.  Was told she had two or three fractured vertebrae in her neck and they were waiting for an MRI and waiting for an intermediate care room to open up to get her out of the emergency room.  My mom is bruised up a little.  While she was sleep, she would try to scratch her nose.  Her movements are no longer fluid.  She shakes like an old person now.  Not with Parkinson's but how old people sometimes shake.  I left her to let her sleep in peace.  I don't know what the situation is but she's aged 20 years in the last two months.

Went to visit her later in the afternoon and she had been moved to the intermediate care floor.  I spoke with the nurse.  The MRI was completed but report not submitted.  I saw her sleep and gently called her name.  She woke up and I asked her a few questions.  She knew who the president was and she new what city she was in.  She didn't know why she was in the hospital and I shared that information with her.  Then she looks at me and says 'you look familiar.  are you a relative of mine?'  Caught be by surprise and a surge of tears welled up.  I said of course mom, it's me K.'  I took her hand and held it.   Then she said she was glad I was there.  Then I told her Dad loves her and she said who? Jack?  I said yeah, dad.  (His name is Karl)  OK.  We visited for a few minutes and she started trying to move around.  I ended the conversation and left.

I got a call from the nurse asking for some medications she is on but not carried by the hospital pharmacy.  How is that possible?  Did some finagling and got the nursing home to release them to me.  Was in touch with my Dad and met him at the nursing home.  He was a mess and started crying and he kept looking into his phone.  I asked him what captures his attention and he was conversing with his therapist.  He looked at me and started crying again.  I sat down with him and put my hand on his shoulder.  He said he doesn't want his wife / my mom to go through what Craig went through the last 10 months and was balling.  I looked him square in the eye and said we won't let that happen.  We will make decisions once we get more information and we will make the most caring, compassionate and loving decision for what's best for mom.  Then I reminded him of the B mantra which is wait to worry.  He started crying some more.  We talked a little bit about the DNR in place and briefly about following it to the T.  I told him I didn't follow his when he was ill.  Strangely he thanked me for that.  I then told him whatever happens we will make the decisions together.  

Thankfully my house is close to their place and even closer to the hospital.  I looked at my dad and asked him if he wanted to go for a ride.  To where?  The hospital to see Mom.  He said no.  I think it would be good for you.  He dug in and said I don't want to go.  I sat with him for a few minutes and just like that he said let's go.  I signed him out and drove him to see his wife.  I got him into the hospital and pulled a chair up and woke my mom up so they could look at each other and briefly converse.  I took his hand and put it in hers.  I left the room to give the medications to the nursing staff.  I came back and my mom fell back asleep.  I woke my mom up again and she was conversing with both of us.  She knew who we were and was as kind and polite as ever.  I covered my mom in a blanket because she said she was cold.  I held my Mom's hand and my dad put his hand out.  We both held mom's hand.  It was a short visit and it was time to go.  We said good night.  Said goodbye to the nurse and we walked back to the car.  I told my Dad it wasn't as bad as he thought it was and he agreed.  So thankful my Mom was lucid and recognized both of us.

I've never seen my dad crack before.  I've never seen fear in his eyes.  I don't know how many days my mom has left.  She's aged dramatically in the last two months.  We'll see how it goes.  My Dad says he doesn't want her to continue suffering.  I don't want to see that either.  Life is going to get worse instead of better.  

I was talking to my friend who is burying his Dad tomorrow.  He told me he was doing okay and he had a very hard time telling his son that grandpa died.  My response to him was we aren't kids anymore and as men we provide strength to those around us.  And here I am providing strength to the man that has always been strong for me.  Together we'll navigate this to the end.  The end isn't here but it may be near.  We got this.  I got you.

Olympics

 What a disaster on multiple fronts.  This trans thing is toxic and corrosive to society.  When you allow a trans woman (a man) to get into a boxing ring and beat the shit out of a genuine woman, there's something wrong with that.  A better question is why doesn't the olympic committee see anything wrong with that?  Anyone allowing this to take place is advocating for men to be able to beat up women.  Plain and simple.  Any woman allow this time happen has no sense of worth.  Mike Tyson should get in the rink and beat the shit out of a trans boxer so they know what it feels like to be beat - literally - by a man and know what it felt like to these women to get beat by a man.  Do you think that freak from Argentina would make it even 46 seconds after being punched in the face by Tyson? 

Men's brains are wired differently than women's.  There is no denying that.  But the left will argue that we are the same and society has systemically and wrongfully (I adamantly disagree)  programmed men and women into what they define as traditional sex roles for the benefit of society to preserve the accepted order of the world.   Is there any truth to that?  I'm no expert but I have read the Bible.  And you don't see cave paintings depicting a woman dragging a buffalo that was just killed to the man who's taking care of the children.

Trans women are not women.  They're mentally ill men.  They argue that they're living their truth.  Look between your legs.  That's your truth.  Mutilating your genitals doesn't make you a woman.  It makes you a freak.

I know a guy that got his penis chopped off to complete his transition to being trans.   I once had great respect for this guy.  Now he is a walking clown show.  While he was "transitioning" he was playing granny basketball with a bunch of retired old women.  WTF?  For some reason he stopped playing and is now the score board operator.  The six foot goon could outplay every single woman on the court. Bruce has a blog and a social media presence.  Every so often he posts pictures of his grandchildren and laments how he misses them and they are being unjustly kept from him.  I so want to ask him if the price he's paid to live out his fetishes was worth the cost of being disowned and disenfranchised by his entire family.  Instead of treating his mental illness his healthcare professionals (if you call them that) indulged in his kinks.  Now he gets to wear women's lingerie, dresses and cheap costume jewelry.  Bruce - was it worth it?  Do you have any regrets?  Was being a lady really that important that you destroyed your entire life?  Is your life complete  now that you're living your best life?  I bet your grandchildren would have liked to know their grandpa.  Now you're known as the freak in the family.  I bet they don't even talk about you.  Your lifestyle is unspeakable to them.

There's a lot of talk about how brave trans people are.  Celebrated for bravely living their authentic selves.  They're brave in broadcasting their mental illness and putting their perversions and kinks on full display to the rest of the world.  These people aren't right in the head.  I have said multiple times this is demonic and the work of satan and his minions.  Alphabet people is what happens when the id of the ego is not boxed in or kept in check.  The id runs amuck and you end up with men painting themselves blue wearing strap on dildos anally raping other men with a ball strapped into his mouth while being whipped.  And they're happy and proud of this lifestyle.  Perverts.  Being successful requires taming the demons in your head and not indulging them.  Weakness is surrendering to the pleasures of the flesh and indulging in drugs and alcohol being let into your body and soul.  Strength comes in acknowledging these elements of society in culture and developing a shield of armor through to protect you 

Why are normal people not standing up for the sanctity of women?  Why aren't will women being celebrated for and what they are?  Why is this being tolerated if not indulged?  Why are those standing up for women, their spaces and their rights being shouted down by the left?  They're treating normal people like we're the problem.  

Maybe this is what happens when people are studying fruit cake courses like gender studies or diversity, equity and inclusion.... or studying the historical and cultural relevance of Taylor swift - making imaginary connections that are completely irrelevant to the world. Or studying the culture of rap and celebrating their culture of drug use, lawlessness, promiscuity and disrespect for authority.

I have written previously expressing my desire for the systemic suppression of certain elements of the human psyche.  For some people the human psyche is a very dark and disturbing place.  The darkness needs to be snuffed out.  It needs to be rehabilitated.  

I think all this is a sign of mental illness.  My wife and I were discussing and she is surprised I am not more compassionate towards people with mental illness and I am being a hypocrite calling these people out and judging them.  My mental illness is treated and not indulged.  Why aren't we doing the same for the freaks?  And why do the freaks want to be celebrated instead of treated?

While I was with my peer group, we were having a social after our meeting.  They were listening to rap or hip hop music.  Ok.  Fine.  But it was the weirdest thing.  We were socializing and when certain songs came on, the socialization would stop as if on cue and they would in unison sing the refrain or chorus to the song and once the chorus was over everyone would go back to socializing.  Like they were programmed for this and it was strangely ritualistic.  Like under the spell of demons and right on cue all conversation stopped while they chanted / rapped / sang the lyrics to the song and once complete they went back to normal and conversation resumed.  It was so weird.  Almost something out of an Indiana Jones movie at the temple of doom.

Society is starting to fray at the seams and the freak is starting to leak out - what's gonna happen when the seam breaks?

AI photography

Apple and others tout AI being incorporated into photo processing programs before the image is made available to view. You'd think with the AI intelligence they could program it to recognize a black person or utilize a 3d camera on the main camera to be able add some definition to black faces. They have no detail and often times just kinda look like black smudges with a body unless the photo was taken with extreme lighting or extreme close up.

Black peoples pictures should look every bit as good as non black people photos. Get with the program. BLM in pictures, yo.

It’s better on the app

A lot of businesses want you to install their app on your phone. I rarely install apps on my phone. Why? I believe they are able to harvest / steal more data about the user with an app as opposed to interacting with their business through a web browser. Prove me wrong.
