Wife asked if I would go to Disneyland with her. I said no. And added I would go to Disneyworld with her instead. Why? It's more expensive to go to disneyworld. I replied I didn't get to see the hall of presidents when Trump was president the first time. I'm not missing it this time. MAGA. I wonder if they'll throw me out for wearing a maga hat?

When I went to the doctor they asked me if I have been traveling out of state in the last month. I said yes. They asked where. I told them it was irrelevant to be asking me this. They proceeded to tell me how important it was for tracking purposes. This was a bad start to me being already unhappy seeing the doctor. It's none of your business where I travel. I am here for something that has been going on longer than a month. A contentious start to the appointment. The information you ask is none of your business. I should have just said wuhan china and looked at them.

The more I interact with and watch different kinds of people, there's a reason different people were put on different continents. To keep them together with the same culture. Except Israel and Palestine. I don't think we have the capacity to integrate. Integration and immigration is contrived BS invented by liberals to advance the shit holes of the rest of the world. The genetic lottery exists. You're either lucky or you're not. Why try to change that?

Just earned an engineering phd degree in engineering from UT. It's being celebrated. If you ask me, a complete waste of time and resources. Like what's that geriatric going to contribute to society for the remainder of his life? Feel good story of the day I guess.

Family wanted to eat barbecue yesterday. I had a chef salad. I don't see or feel any payoff in weight loss in any of the changes I've made. What a crock of shit.

The suggested retail price for a night in the hospital to include CT-Scan, x-ray and ultrasound with multiple blood draws and urine tests comes it at $41,000.00. That's pretty amazing. Shock and awe. No advice on cause or how to fix problem of pancreatitis besides exercise, stop eating red meat and fried food. Don't drink alcohol. Low fat. High protein. What a joke. But it's not a funny one.

The city is loud and full of people. I do not like loud. I do not like other people. It seems like a siren sounds approximately every 15 minutes. A car honks. The city is uncivilized. Too many people too close together.

Sitting on a plane headed for epic weekend. Banana man in a wheelchair crapped his depends. It smells absolutely horrible. You should have to present yourself as medically able to sustain a 4 hour flight. Baby turds in diapers is one thing. Adult turds and urine are another.  Smells like a filthy gas station with shit smeared on the wall.  Why does this stuff happen in my orbit?

Their recordings are fun. The musicians have just enough of an amateur edge to make it a most enjoyable experience instead of a sterile proper reading.

Went to nice steakhouse. Everyone had a nice steak. I had a salad with chicken. 😤

Hamas agitators… Trump is right. You don't get to come here and bust shit up and build a camp as you protest Israel. You can protest but you don't get to be violent. Take your violence somewhere else. Your right to be in this country ends when violence begins. Get out.

People are disposable. The ruthless claw their way to the top. You're only worth what you're doing today and every day after that. We pretend to care. We don't. Someone at the top throws a tantrum and it makes its way to the front line. There is a perception that not meeting goals is a deliberate decision and there is something that needs to be corrected. There is a culture where we don't seek to understand. Accuse without justification. I'm ready to quit and do something else.

I saw a lady at my favorite restaurant sitting in a chair. She must have weighed 500 lbs. I'm surprised the chair held her. With American's waist lines increasing exponentially i would not want to be in the chair business. If a jumbo sits on a chair and it breaks and they break a hip, there's likely a law suit. I wonder what kind of manufacturing technology is used to insure the structural integrity of a chair nowadays? Cold weld, x-ray technology? Advanced alloys? Old school dovetail joints? On one hand pretty fascinating. On the other, pretty sad.

Because elected officials no longer represent the will of the people. Them become entrenched bureaucrats. They operate off their agenda instead of looking out for the welfare of their constituents. Susceptible to the will lobbyists and activists with deep pockets. No longer interested in the working class population. It was never about the working class. No longer about right and wrong. It was always about representing those who have the cash to move their agendas through the legislative process. Bribing the officials' who can expedite the process to affect change. Not because it's good for the people but because those who pay expect a return on their investment.

Maybe I should just accept that I am an uneducated hack and snot nosed kids with college degrees are in a positions of authority to make decisions that affect me. They do not share our values or cultural norms. They have no real world experience. But they have a degree. They've probably done a few projects and written some nice papers.

Is coming up. The first one since my mom died. The thought of May 11 brings a heavy sadness to my heart. I wonder how that day will really play out. Today it's not looking like it will be a good day. A sad day.

Here is one piece of advice I would share with my peer group/ team if awarded the opportunity…. Know your audience. Does what I'm sharing need to be known by everyone in the group? Is it more effective to communicate to the individuals involved? Should I not share what I'm thinking at all? There is this one person that thought it appropriate to share her thoughts about a pilot killing himself in a parking lot before imminent arrest. This person that he was a coward and was angry about his choice. I had enough of her bullshit building from interactions over the week of nasty follow ups. I didn't appreciate her tone. I don't appreciate her using our chat group as a social media page to voice her political and social opinions. I told her I thought her comments were inappropriate and not constructive to our group. Ran out of food been eating for diet since exiting hospital. Decided to eat Panda Express for dinner last night. Same meal I had evening before admission to hospital. That was a mistake. I guess it's not a healthy meal. Fried rice with kung pao chicken. Woke up with pain in same area that prompted hospital admission but not a s severe. Lesson learned. This is a problem and not a one off situation. Believe best course of action is pain killer, water and fasting for next 12 hours which will put me at 24 hours since last meal.
