The Pandemic

 What I find most shocking about the pandemic is how an overwhelming percentage of the population just accepted what they were told without questioning the absurdity of all of it.  Society as we know it was literally put on hold because of the evil pandemic causing respiratory problems and killing nearly everyone that it came in contact with.  Like a plague.  Like the skin would melt off of your body being exposed to the covid 19 pandemic.  They shut down society.  Told everyone to stay in their houses (unless they were essential workers) and hunker down because the boogie man is going to come and get you.  Yet it was okay to go for a walk in your neighborhood.  Like what the hell?  Did anyone stop and think "are you serious?"  As a society we cowered down like a bunch of pussies.  Limiting the number of people that could go in a grocery store and limiting the number of people allowed in each aisle and making the aisles one way.  Like seriously.  I spent most of the pandemic going to work and doing my job doing stupid shit like enforcing mask policies and cleaning airplanes.  You think being in an airport or metal tube would have been a prime breeding ground for covid.  It wasn't.  I'm just amazed at how stupid everyone is/was.  They just took what they were being told at face value without actually thinking for themselves.  Like a bunch of dummies under a spell.  And the masking protocols.  Are these people crazy?  The mask doesn't do anything.  At first it was protecting me from you.  Then it became me protecting you from me.  Does that even make sense?  No.  No it doesn't.  It's idiotic.  And then double masking.  We were taken for the fools we are.  Then you had those idiots that were wearing eye goggles. They might as well have been wearing wetsuits in public.  What a bunch of idiots.  Fear.  Fear is a strong emotion.  And those in power preyed on people's ignorance and fear.  They know for a fact most people are too stupid to think for themselves.  They exploited it.  All those in power that participated in this can go screw themselves.

The first flag should have been when you had to stay in your house and sequester unless you are rioting for BLM.  Then it was acceptable to be out and about.  Lighting things on fire, breaking windows, looting and rioting.  That was ok during the pandemic.  But going to church wasn't?  Those in power even said that?  Really.  If you believed any of it you're stupid.

Then came the vaccine that everyone was told they had to get.  The government mandated everyone get the shot.  Employers said you had to get the shot to keep your job.  What was that about?  My body my choice?  Only for abortion.  I'm still pissed I took the goddam thing and those who didn't still got to keep their job?  What the hell?  Why didn't anyone follow through with this mandate?  Can I sue my employer for this?  The vaccine.  I want them to pay for the antidote to the vaccine if there is one.  I don't think it's safe.  And I do think there are side effects that aren't being talked about.  I think it's turned us into a bunch of lemmings incapable of thinking and concentrating to same level or intensity that was possible prior to taking the vaccine.  But what do I know?  

Three people in my family took the vaccine.  One did not.  I thank God we had the sense to protect the youngest from this evilness.  I wish we would have had the courage to say no when every single facet of society was endorsing this thing and exerting pressure from every angle to go get the jab.  Like living in a police state.  Fuck you.  One of the biggest disappointments of my life.  

You should go listen and watch some of the people in power talk about the pandemic.  What they were saying wasn't based on reality or scientific evidence.  They were using fear to strip of us of our freedom and forcing us to conform.  An absolute abuse of power and the greatest crime against humanity in history.  Period.  

If this was so dangerous then, what's changed now?  The vaccination rate?  Or how about the complete overreaction and it was never that big of threat to begin with.  Why did they let immigrants come across the border without being vaccinated?  Why weren't they forced to take the shot upon illegal entry.  Why in the hell did we have to take the vaccine and not them?  Does anyone besides me see anything wrong with that?

To this day I am absolutely furious with what was done to us by those in power.  I guess you can say they were being cautious.  Bullshit.  They knew more than they told us and seized on an opportunity to control us.  I think it was a test and I'm sure they were pleasantly surprised with the level of control and compliance they were able to extort out of the global population.  They shut down society.  On purpose.  For the great economic reset.  Just like all this carbon taxation and the actions of the enviroterrorists.  They're trying to control us and restrict what we can do.  Or they are going to make it prohibitively expensive for us to do what we want if it's not what they want.

You see - taxation is nothing more than a form of control through financial penalty.  That's really all the government does - is steal through taxation and regulate all facets of our life.  The more you comply, the more they will take.  Our world is turning out to be a disappointment.  There is no such thing as freedom.  There's only freedom when you have enough money to make the rules or enough money to get around the rules.  The rest of us are doomed.

Which therein makes you wonder - politicians, Hollywood (including sports) and the media are joined together at the hip in a perverted threesome...  Politicians rely on the media to advance their agenda.  Hollywood keeps you occupied (entertained) so you don't have time to think or watch for yourself what they're doing to us.  People don't even realize they are being programmed.  Programmed to go along with whatever is fashionable.  Distracted and soothed just enough so people don't see or think for themselves.  You must conform.  I refuse.

Nostalgia

One of my favorite pictures. It's timeless. What’s interesting is my family has been to the theme parks many times during their childhood. I didn’t go but a small fraction of the times they went. While I wasn’t there to make these memories, I in part made them possible. Sadly and stupidly I chose work over going to the parks. Although I wasn’t there, I love seeing the smiles on their faces.  They probably had a better time without me. 

How dare he

One thing that irritates the shit out of me is when Joe Biden turns his back on reporters when they want to ask him questions. Just turns around and goes out the back door? How does the demon sleep at night?

Now we've got all the pro-Palestine demonstrations occurring on college campuses. And it looks like a third world mob chanting for death to America and her soldiers.

All these Islamic sympathizers being let it this country to attend university in the name of diversity, equity and inclusion. Go fuck yourself.

Targeted Leadership

 I've come to the conclusion that no one really wants a long term employee doing the same job for more than 5 years.  It was said that we should be looking towards growth and moving into the next opportunity Don't plan on spending 5-1-0 years doing the same job in the same place.  So in other words, we don't want to pay for experience.  We want to bring someone in cheaper behind you.  And one thing apparent is managing by putting on a target on your back.  And every time you do something they don't like, they start painting the first circle on your back.  Eventually that circle gets fully painted and they start the next smaller circle inside the first circle and finally when that one is fully painted they have the bullseye for who they're going to take out.  "Manage up or manage out."  That's what we're expected to do and that's what they're doing to us.  Thank you.  May I have another.

Weeds are a problem where I live. Here's a pro-tip for you. When fertilizing your yard, be sure to fertilize three lawnmower swaths into your neighbor's yard to keep their weeds from migrating into your yard.

Fertilizer is bad per the enviroterrorists. Ever more of a reason to use it.

Israel, Palestine and Ukraine

We shouldn't be giving any money or weaponry to Ukraine.  Zelenski is a global panhandler and how he's managed to get all these politicians on both sides of the aisle to kiss his ass is beyond me.  This is a European problem and not a US problem.  And it's become a US vs Russia proxy war with us supplying military aid to Ukraine.  Both sides of the aisle are an absolute embarrassment.  Why do they care more about Ukraine's border than our own?  It's absolutely pathetic.  While we're at it, just open our border and let whoever wants in to america come in.  Oh wait.  That's what we're doing.  Globalism.  BS.

I'm also amused by the United States giving humanitarian aide to Gaza/Palestine while giving military support to Israel?  Nothing quite like funding both sides of a war.  I'm so sick of anti-semitism.  The Jews are too delicate.  Heaven forbid someone speaks out against Israel.  It's a national crime.  Why?  Israel said the quiet part out loud - they want to exterminate the Palestinians.  How is Netanyahoo any different than a modern day hitler?  Oh wait - he's not.  Now you got all these people speaking out against Israel and it's like is automatically deemed hate speech.  What the hell?  

Jewish people are the most protected group of people in existence.  And it's getting old.  Back Israel and its people at all costs.  Why?  Because.  Because why?  Because someone, somewhere along the line decided they were the chosen.

World War 3 is breaking out on Joe Biden's watch.  He is weak.  He's a pussy.  If Donald Trump were president we would have destroyed something long ago to show the world who's boss.  Peace through strength.  One of the best quotes ever.  

Joe Biden's allegiance to NATO is offensive as well.  Without America there is no NATO.  Exactly. I support Trumps view.  It's outdated.  

Going green

Electric anything is completely misguided as far as saving the environment. Unless the originating source of energy production is hydro-electric, wind, solar or geothermal, it's made using fossil fuels. Saying anything different is lying. Not to mention the rare earth minerals used in production of energy storage and the environmental impacts of the mining industry. It's all smoke and mirrors. Every single thing we do has an environmental impact. Deal with it.

Yuckee

 One thing that grosses me out.  Large, dense groups of people.  Like in an airport or a mega concert or football stadium.  When there are lines to get into the restroom and the toilets flush one after the other.  In every stall.  In every restroom.  All these people producing all this poop that gets flushed down the toilet and ends up who knows where.  The odor wafting from the restroom into the public space.  It's absolutely disgusting.  

Another thing I find disgusting is a busy restaurant.  Like line out the door busy.  And all these people in meat.  All these animals killed to feed the masses.  Think of something like a chickfila where all these chickens are butchered so we can have chicken sandwiches.  Or a super busy steak house when they cut the steaks from the cows.  And they're just grillin' them for hours on end.  They're rarely an empty spot on the grill.  

Marijuana is a bad thing.  There is a publication written by Time magazine titled Cannabis - The New Reality, the legal journey and its place in health care.  I'm curious what is contained within but I'm not willing to pay to find out.  I think pot is bad.  And if you've lived in. a place where it is legal, you would think it is bad too.  

The Kennedy family endorsed Biden to send a message to RJK JR.  There is a picture of creepy Joe hugging a Kennedy girl and it is out right creepy looking.  Joe is a perverted kid sniffer.  Raunch.  I wonder what Jill thinks of him hugging this woman?  I bet he's got wood.

Greatest work

I suppose every artist has what they consider their greatest work. And fans have what they consider the artist's greatest work. John Williams is fond of ET. I'm unsure what I would consider John Williams' greatest work is. I like all of it at different times; making it a complicated question to answer.

I think James Horner's greatest work is titanic. Incredibly intense and passionate, full of despair, full of passion and at times terrorizing. While listening this evening I got to thinking about the love story between Jack and Rose. They were against the odds but meant to be. Jack sacrificed himself for Rose. They never gave up on each other. One thing I wonder is why couldn't they share the floating door? I guess it wouldn't be a very good love story without the sacrifice with Rose cherishing her true love for the rest of her life. Such a nice story.

Who tells the truth

Whenever I hear Joe Biden speak I think he's lying. Whenever I hear Donald Trump speak I feel he is truthful but embellished. Why is that?

Maybe it's because I disagree with everything that comes out of Biden's mouth. I feel like all he does is lie lie lie.

Between Joe Biden and Donald Trump I am voting for Trump. For anyone to go after someone with the same amount of malice, vitriol and hate as they do to him, it says to me he is a threat to them and they will do anything and everything to cock block him. That alone is a reason to support him.

Surveillance Nation

 Have you flown lately?  Do you find it weird they take your picture after they scan your ID?   

Biometrics is disturbing to me. It doesn’t feel right. It feels like they’re taking something from me without my consent or permission. Or did I consent to whatever they’re by purchasing an airline ticket and going through a security checkpoint to board my flight?

I wonder if we are tracked in the airport terminal?  I wonder where else the data is used?  When I’m walking around a city or crossing the street?  Is my location attached to my person tracked by my cell phone?  By my credit card transactions?  By the license plate on my car?  Who monitors this information?  

You can run but you can’t hide. Burner phones. Hm.  

Is there a psychological profile that exists of me in some database somewhere due to my social media use or online activity?  What information do they have about me and can it be used against me?  Can it be manipulated?  Used for harm?

It’s like my soul and identity has been digitized and believe we may have all indirectly consented to its use, surveillance and profiling by using free online services and clicking through consenting and user agreements without reading them in order to get to use the shiny free product or travel somewhere by exchanging our identity for permission to move and think?

We’ve surrendered our soul and identity to digitalization through deceit. Our lives have become someone else’s digital assets. 

Perhaps freedom of thought and movement is an illusion.

I sense a disturbance in the force. 

Dilemma

 A few weeks ago I purchased a used pair of speakers for my stereo with the  intention of having them be used to supplement my main speakers.  The fill ins are paradigm reference studio 40s and the mains are reference studio 100s.  The 100s are tough to drive because they have 5 drivers each and dip into 2 ohm loads so I have a 200 watt per channel amp pushing power to them.  They are wonderful full range tower speakers.

 I’m considering selling the studio 100s and the amp because the studio 40s sound magnificent and can be driven off the receiver alone.  One of my long term goals is to have a dedicated listening room with enough space to let the studio 100s open up.  I don’t think that will ever happen because houses typically don’t have listening rooms.  They do have theatres nowadays.  

We have space in our house that we have converted to a make shift theatre room but it’s not ideal.  Why don’t I put the studio 100s in there?  Because my wife watches movies and I listen to music.  We do these activities simultaneously while separately.  She watches movies the same time I listen to music. 

My studio 100s dip down to around 22-25 hertz.  My studio 40s dip down to about 50 hertz.  Do I really need that bottom 25 hertz?  

The 100s are really too much speaker for my room as evidence by the enjoyment I’m getting listening to the 40s by themselves.  Bigger isn’t always better. TWSS.

To all the environmentalists

 Until they start living like Amish people, they can STFU. No more technology, no more transportation from fossil fuel burning modes - ie you can run, walk, crawl or bicycle. Only eat food that directly comes from dirt or trees.  You can only wear clothes made from cotton by an indigenous person. No more flying on airplanes. No more cars. No more shelter with roofs made from tradition shingles. Live in a grass hut. No shoes for you. No air conditioning for you. No newspapers for you. Hunt and kill your own food with a spear. Seriously. No light bulb for you. No refrigerator for you. No hot water for you. No sewer for you. No clean water for you. No cosmetics for you. No icecream for you.  

Just drop them off on a deserted island without any clothes or tools.  Go live a life like tom hanks did after his fedex plane crashed and he ended up on an island.  I don’t even remember the name of it because I stopped caring about Tom hanks when he couldn’t shut about politics. Kinda like me. I wonder if my political stance has grown long in the tooth for some?

These idiots bitch about consumption and destroying the environment but they’re not giving up anything and they’re living with and benefiting from modern technology that has a negative impact on the environment.  The way they live their lives contributes to the destruction of the environment whether they admit it or not. They’re a bunch of hypocrites. 

The economy

John Williams

 I talk too much about John Williams.  And - I don't care - because he is an amazing artist and his work has given me so much joy in my life.  All thanks to buy the Star Wars sound track and that cd by dad bought with our first cd player.  I am not too familiar with the the story of Richard Nixon's presidency.  What I can tell you is Richard Nixon's situation must have been  complicated because the score John Williams composed for Oliver Stone's film is mesmerizing.  It is rich in texture, full of turmoil and conflict.  Sometimes eerie and times bold and resolute when not conflicted.  What's interesting about Nixon is it is really not popular and doesn't get a lot attention.  Easily found on cd.  Sometimes you can find it around 5 bucks, other times it's around 20 bucks.  

I sometimes consider arranging my John Williams collection by copyright date.  But that's not how I relate to his work.  I have it arranged by my most played then by movie franchise and then everything else.  I guess it's more closely catalogued by director.  By my count I've only seen the movie from roughly 26 of the cd titles in the collection.  For me its never been about the movie.  It's always about the music.

I shouldna had a V8

 Don’t get me wrong - I love a v8 engine. What I don’t like is putting gas in it. With my commute, I fill up every week. My tank holds 22 gallons. That’s over 70 dollars a week in gas or around 300 a month in gas. That’s a lot to spend on gas. When I was driving 16 miles a day it didn’t matter how much money I was spending on gas. When I drive 56 miles a day, the cost of gas is a consideration. 

It’s no secret potato head is hostile to fossil fuels. It’s no secret decisions made by his administration increase the cost of gas.  They want gas to be expensive so you’ll buy a stupid electric car.  The administration is too stupid to realize that an electric car just moved the carbon production away from the car and moved it to electric power production plants.  But whatever. I’m thinking too much. 

I think it’s time to consider getting rid of the Lexus and moving towards a car with a v6 engine to increase miles driven per gallon and reduce the cost of filling the tank. The Lexus is a heavy car. It’s a vault on wheels. Something that weighs less would be more economical to set in motion. 

What s nice about the Lexus is it’s paid for. No car payment. There’s something to be said for that.  So is it about more efficiency or spending less each week.  I can sell the car for at least what I paid for it.  But I won’t be able to buy something more economical that I’d be willing to drive without a car payment for plus the cost of filling the tank. What’s a guy to do?

I’d rather spend more money for a more fuel efficient car and less on gas. That really doesn’t make any cents.  Guess who was the short sighted idiot??!!

IT's going to be a busy week

 After a week out of the office, it is going to be a busy week upon my return.  Many thoughts from the last week - none of which are good.

 Having a media that includes photos of Joe Biden wearing his ray ban aviator sunglasses likes he’s some tough guy is a total joke. He’s a well meaning elderly man with a poor memory. And a speech impediment. And he can’t walk right anymore. And he falls off his bike. And falls going up and down the stairs for Air Force one.  Absolutely pathetic.

Magic

 AirPods are magical. Especially the pro 2 version. I picked up a pair because I have to be in n conference calls in locations other than my office. Like the car or at home or in the terminal or wherever. And I wanted a par to listen to music when I’m traveling - since I travel for work more than ever. 

Today was the first day I used them on an airplane with the noise cancelling feature. All I can say is wow!  How did Apple pack all that technology in an earbud?  Pretty cool if you ask me.

It’s about time.  I’m not a fan of Catholicism or the pope in general.  However, the catholic church taking a stance against all this transgender lunacy is most welcome  Transgenderism is a mental defect or deformity and should be treated as such  if you look at the majority of the loud and proud people it’s a freak show.  Perverts dressing in clothing of the opposite sex, mutilating their bodies through the disgusting practice of gender affirming care, screwing up their bodies with hormone supplements, piercing parts of their bodies that shouldn’t be and painting their hair all kinds of weird colors   Transgenderism is a human tragedy.  Those partaking in this practice are doing the world an injustice as well as the human condition   

One of the things I’ve been wanting to write about is how much abuse takes place under the veil of love and caring for the individual.  On many levels of society.  I think it is probably mind blowing and most disturbing.  Especially when it comes from people who are to be protectors and tellers of truth.

Interestingly the Catholic Church opposes euthanasia because it takes power away from god and gives it to humans.  How can the church also not be opposed to medicine?  How is one different than the other?  Two sides of the same sword.

Also curious if they said anything about tattoos  defacing the body god gave you with graffiti.

 Man...  So I'm blastin' down the road in the GodRod.  I'm talking flyin'.  It is awesome.  The GodRod was singin' and I wazza zingin'.  See - I was feeling so good after my time with Mary.  We shared a very intimate couple days as we celebrated our love for eachother and made a little boom-boom.  Less I digress...

Back to the story.  It's beautiful day.  The sun is shining.  There's a light breeze from the North.  Traffic is just heavy enough to keep the drive entertaining.  The windows are down.  The sunroof open.  I'm playing the mix-tape Mary made me.  Rockin' Down the Highway is blasting right now.  The car is white.  I'm in black.  The Oakleys are on.  It is great.  Everything is perfectly synched.  The sound of the engine.  The feel of the shifter in my hand as the vibrations from the car travel through my body.  I'm rowing the gears, keeping the engine in the sweet zone.  Dancing through the traffic.   My hair is blowin' in the wind.  I feel great!

I look down at the speed-o and I'm doing 85mph.  I'm feeling GREAT!  "Raise a little Hell" is now playing on the mixtape.  I drummin' on the steering wheel.  (Mary knows me sooo well, it's scary.)  I think to myself, that's all you got?  Sure enough, traffic opens up a bit.  I drop a gear and hit it.  90...  95....  100....  SWEET!  The car is pulling long and strong as the speed increases....  110.  120. 125.  All of a sudden, there's a Kojack with a Kodak parked in the shoulder. He got me.  Damit.  So, I start slowing down and pull over to the right shoulder.  (Last time I pulled into the left should and the cop was upset.)  whatever.

He slowly gets off his bike with his weapon drawn.  I'm like what's going on.  This is a little different than last time.  He yells at me, "Son, What's your name?"  In the meantime, I'm thinkin, who you callin' son?  And he yells again in a very agitated and agressive voice, "What's YOUR NAME SON?"  I yell back, "JESUS CHRIST."  He yells put your hands up.  Good me.  What is going on?  I put my hands up - one is up and sticking out of the sunroof.  The other hand is raised out the window.  This is awkward. 

He approaches the car with his gun pointed at me and says, "Gimme your license and insurance."  I'm like, excuse me, sir....  Do you have your cam on?  He says What?  I go DO YOU HAVE YOUR CAM ON?  He's like whats a cam.  I'm like dude, you know your camera so this entire incident is captured on video.  It's for my protection as well as yours.  He looks at me with a WTF look.  I ask him to please turn it on. 

He begrudgingly complies.  As requested, I get out my license and insurance, holding it out the window clenched between my pointer and middle finger.  He snaps it out of my hand.  This guy has a huge attitude problem.  He looks at my license and says, "Jesus H. Christ?"  Yeah, that's my name.  What does the H stand for?  Nothing.  It's just an initial.  From New Hope, Pennsylvania  huh?  Yep, that's right again.  You musta been in the talented and gifted program, huh?  Whatever.  Then he asks me where I'm going.  Heaven.  Where's Heaven?  I told him the only way he can find out is if he enrolls in my timeshare program.  He raises an eyebrow.  And says, "son, where is Heaven?"  I hate it when the mortals expect an answer to this question.  I said if I tell you, I'd have to kill you.  Wrong thing to say to the cop....  I look at him and say, "dude, let's get this over with.  Are you gonna give me a ticket, put me in jail or what? 

So, here I am finding myself in an awkward position.  I ask him for forgiveness.  I've got a meeting with the Jesus! Inc. bored members.  I'm like if you forgive me, I'll forgive you... I'm saying this with a little devilish grin on my face.  I say seriously.  He looks the GodRod over.  Looks at my license.  Reads the license plate aloud "4 GIVN"  Looks at me.  Looks up at the sky.  Let's out a loud sigh.  Looks back at me and says beat it.  He hands me my license.  I say Bless you my child. 

Start up the car again, crank the stereo and Cee Lo Greens F*%CK YOU song starts blasting. 

I lowered my head.  I raise my eyes just over the shades...  Give him a cheesy grin with a few little eyebrow raises.  Rev the engine.  Pop the clutch.  Lay some rubber.  I'm gone.

Travel for work

 I don’t want to do this. I don’t want to pack. I don’t want to get on a plane. I don’t want to be ‘on’ for the entire week.  Dreading this.  Makes me wonder if the meds are becoming less effective. They only work until they don’t.   Could depression be looming? Am I right for this role?  Am I a poser?  Does anyone else feel the same?

Minority

My kid's team placed first place in the robot club meet.  Pretty good.  His teacher saved him.  He wore his black shirt to the meet and she ran over to the middle school (a block away) and put the robot club logo on it before the meet started.  That was very nice of her.  Then she told me my son is a very good student.  I asked how long they knew about the t-shirt.  TWO WEEKS.  He said two days.  SMH.  Kids these days.  Oh well.

Then one thing I noticed - kids from certain schools were of certain ethnic groups.  Don't give me this crap about integration.  All the Indian people with money flock to certain parts of town.  Which is fine.  Then I got to thinking.  I don't particularly like minorities.  Like stay in your own country instead of coming here.  Probably the most unpopular view for someone to have now adays.  Father forgive me for I am flawed.  Don't come over here and bring your bullshit with you.  Indian people seem to think they're better than everyone else.  I was talking to someone about this a while ago and it is because India has a caste system.  Those who make it here are better than everyone else in their home country.  Which is why they look down on the rest of of us with their smug superiority and their fancy electronics always in tote driving their electric cars.  They're so enlightened.  Whatever.

One experience I've missed out on is being a minority and now I find I am being forced into that category by immigration.  Ok.  I have a friend who travels a lot.  Like A LOT.  Every where he goes he's the minority - the American in a foreign land.  I wonder what it's like.  I don't think I would like it.  I wonder if people treat him poorly because he's a minority in their country.  It's not something I'm willing to spend money on to find out.

Tucker Carlson

 Is he a propagandist, a liar, a teller of truth?  Is he compromised working for a foreign government?  Is he a quack or does he have any form of credibility?  I always enjoyed his monologues on Tucker Carlson Tonight when he was on Fox.  I wonder?!?!  Is there any way to know?

Robot Club

 My youngest son informed us yesterday that he has a competition with his robot club at school on Saturday.  Today I asked him what time it was at 0830 in the morning.  Cool.  No problem.  Then I asked him if they had matching shirts.  He said yes.  When did you get it?  Today.  Oh?!?  And he pulls a blue shirt out of his backpack.  One of his new shirts that he got for Christmas.  And he had the club faculty advisor iron on a robot to the back.  He already had a design on the front.  His is blue.  There's are black.  So....  we have a problem.  Does he wear his blue shirt that he messed up with the club logo?  As punishment for not telling anyone before the night before the competition?  I said you could tell everyone the blue shirt means you're the team captain.  He didn't like that idea.  Then how about telling everyone the teacher's aide gets to wear a special blue shirt.  He didn't like that idea either.  So...  I asked him if he'd rather wear is disaster of a blue shirt because it had the logo on it or wear a generic black shirt?  He looked up and said he'd rather wear a generic black shirt.  So, I made him stop what he was doing and get in the car and we trekked over to walmart and bought one.  But here's the deal.  I made him wear the shirt over his existing shirt once we found one that fit.  Because it has bar code on it.  So we went to the self check out and I picked him up and scanned him and paid for the shirt.  He tried to take it off.  No sir.  You will wear that shirt and show the lady checking receipts at the door your receipt and explain why you're wearing the shirt instead of carrying it in the bag. And you will wear it home and tell your Mom why you're wearing it.  He walks in and tells my wife what the deal was while wearing his shirt and carrying the receipt.  My wife asks if I really did that.  Duh. Yes, I did.  He's got to remember this so he can hone his memory for important things.

I figure a little bit of unconfortable explaining will be a learning experience for him.  I could have made him wear the the blue shirt he ruined to the competition but thought that would also be a more humiliating learning experience.   On the way back we had a couple laughs and were listening to the Footloose soundtrack in the car.  I asked him what he thought Poppy (my dad) would have done.  He said poppy would have made you wear the wrong shirt to the competition.  He's probably right.  We laughed some more.

 If January 6 was a riot or insurrection as they like to say, don't you think they would have broken all the windows, vandalized the place, spray painted graffiti all over the inside, turned all the furniture upside down, pulled all the books in the offices off she shelves and set it on fire?  Kinda like a BLM rally?

Heist

 someone knocked off an armored car company and stole 30 million dollars in cash. That is 100% awesome and the thieves who executed this heist definitely knew what they were doing and did it so very well.  I always thought an armored car heist would be amazing. Like the Italian Job. 

I also think robbing a casino would be awesome. Like oceans 11.  

The planning and execution would be amazing. The dry runs.  The knowledge about the inside. The elaborate planning.  Woo!  It’s just exciting.

 Believers - Did you really think Harold Camping knew more than I about the end of the word, raptures and the like?  Really?  May 21, 2011?  Where'd he come up with that?  Oh yeah - based on his in depth study of reading and translating the good book.  What an idiot.  Now that I think about it.  I don't know who's more stupid - Harold or his followers.  You be the judge.  Trust me, it's kind of fun to be the judge....

Remember when we first started our movement, my book was a pamphlet containing principles for successful living - a guide if you will.  Over time, the nutjobs decided to translate it and put all this mumbo-jumbo in there that was never intended.  They took creative freedom to an entirely new level.  Alas, I am the only one with the original manuscript for my manifesto.  It's guarded just as Colonel Sanders' recipe for Kentucky Fried Chicken.  I've got it rolled and wrapped like one big doobie sitting in a corner of my pantry.  It's so inconspicuous no one would ever guess...

To celebrate Harold's ignorance, today is RaptureFest. 

Here's how it is gonna work.  I've rented a big ol' field with no trees.  It's in Kansas - just so there's no question - we're still here...  I've contracted some food trailers and vendors so there will be carnival food and drink.  Beer, soda and lemonade.  For the diehards, there will be a booth featuring Morgue and David wine.

I really like funnel cakes so I got two booths going for those.  Sausage on a stick, fajita tacos, hamburgers and hotdogs.  Most important - for the kids I got cotton candy.  I'll be giving away cotton candy for free.  I get a strange sense of pleasure seeing all the children walk around with their colored cotton candy on a spool in a rainbow of colors.  I laugh when I see them pull the candy off the spool, stick it in their mouth and enjoy the oral sensation of the stranded sugar melting in their mouthes...  They lick their fingers and go for another swab.  Their fingers get all sticky and colored.  Then they spend the rest of the time at the fair wondering around repeatedly licking their fingers to get the gook off.  Buwahahahaha....

Enough about the food.  Let's have some fun.  Everyone who wants to come to RaptureFest is encouraged to bring a homemade kite modeled after a human mortal.  I want realism.  No cartoony type stuff....  As a matter of fact - if you make a kite that looks just like you, there will be extra points awarded.  The kites will be judged by me and my possie - aka - the board of Jesus Inc, commonly referred to as the apostles.  Winner gets lunch with me at Chipotle.  I'll pick up the lucky one and we'll drive around in the GodRod.  I'll even take you on a tour of Heaven - the greatest place on Earth.

Since we're meeting at the prairie in Kansas, there is a ton of wind.  Everyone will fly their kites.  All the pretty colors, shapes and sizes.  We'll kidnap Harold and bring him to our little party wearing a blindfold.  Then, we'll lead him out - spin him around in a circle about 43 times and remove his blindfold.  He'll be completely disorientated - look up and see all the people kites flying in the wind as if they're ascending to his ill-conceived notion of heaven.

How much you wanna bet he poops in his pants and starts to cry at the magnificent sight of the kites - thinking he finally got it right. 

Then, we can all look at him and bust out laughing. 

And that my friends is how we roll.  Never get distracted from the way, the truth and the life.  The best kind of relationship is a direct relationship.

Marriage

My sister's husband was in a terrible car accident.  Since then he's had a major surgery, had cardiac arrest and they worked on him for nearly a half hour then a stroke and a series of seizures and it was revealed that his frontal temporal lobe has been damaged.  In addition to the paralysis of his left side and other body problems, he is brain damaged.  The brain damage has affected his ability to be nice and often times becomes verbally abusive and belligerent to those around him and act out with violence towards those in his wrath.  My sister has informed me her husband has been discharged from care facilities because they are unable/unwilling to continue dealing with him.  His behavior has been documented as being so horrible that other facilities refuse to accept him as a rehab patient or resident in a long term care or skilled nursing facility.  Essentially he was discharged to my sister and no one else will care for him but her.  My sister then alluded to her having no income and having to take care of her husband.  They've come out of this situation with debt in excess of a million dollars, no more insurance benefits and no more income.  Essentially, she is caught in the undertow and being pulled under with him being the dead weight dragging her down.  

Her husband used to be a minister.  Their bishop consulted my sister and said that although they were married and made a commitment to love and care for each other for the rest of their lives that God would understand her situation and those vows they undertook did not encompass sticking it out through abuse of any kind.  Essentially his way of giving her out of their marriage due to the circumstances.

There was one point when they required the discharge that my sister didn't know how she was going to care for him due to his abusive behavior.  My counsel to her was if she was being abused or in a position where her husband was either a threat to himself or those around him was to call the police and have them take him away and then refuse the discharge once he was stable.  This would get him away from her and get him into the system as being abusive.  Even though he is not of sound mind.

I have also counseled her to seek legal help for how to divorce him and have him turned over to the custody of the state to deal with.  They are ruined financially.  The best thing to do would be a divorce, declare bankruptcy and have him be awarded custody of the state.  Then she get on with her life and live out her life with some independence as opposed to being burdened by caring for an abusive invalid with no income and no future.  It's not a matter of no longer loving him.  It's about being able to live your life without being a slave to his care and being destroyed financially.  

The very thing that terrifies me of happening if I become incapacitated due to disease or brain rot.  I have no doubt it is an extremely difficult decision to make.  I wouldn't want to make it.  I wouldn't want to end up or my wife to end up ruined financially because something terrible happened.  I wouldn't want my wife to be shackeled with caring for me if I was terrible to her regardless of being in a sound state of mind or not.  

What do you do when life changes and becomes unmanageable?  I recently wrote about the commitment a couple makes to each other when the get married.  Never giving up on each other or the relationship.  Does that apply in every circumstance?  My sister publicly posted their wedding vows made on their wedding day: 

I take you, Craig, to be my husband, in the presence of God. 

To grow with you in a love that has no limit 

To be faithful to you

To respect and care for you

To laugh and cry with you

And to share my whole life with you

Through the best and worst of all that is to come.

Everyone is saying they're continue to pray for them and their situation. One mutual friend said he would pray for courage. I agree with our mutual friend. Courage to either stick it out or courage to get out of the situation.

Is it okay to jump ship when life goes completely sideways? If there's no way out? Should either person be sentenced to a lifetime of misery due to circumstance? Is that really what you sign up for as you take your marriage vows before God, family and friends?

I don't know how to answer any of the questions or how one would go about reconciling a decision to stick it out or call it quits.

One of my modus operandi is to make a decision and make it good. In other words go all in. Make your bed and sleep in it.

The more I think about it the most caring thing one can do is draw up an end of life directive and have it notarized or done by a lawyer so it is legally binding. For me, I think I draw the line at once the heart stops, pull the plug. Or do not attempt resuscitation once the heart has been stoped for 3 minutes. Because let's face it - anything longer than that and the chances of having brain damage increase exponentially.

Their situation is awful tragedy and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Sometimes I feel like I'm a ruthless asshole for even suggesting walking away, getting a divorce and declaring bankruptcy so you can live the rest of your life without the burden that comes with taking care of a brain damaged invalid with no income. What kind of future is that? Would anyone want that for themselves or their spouse? I wouldn't want my wife's life to take a turn to find herself in that situation. What a mess.

E-sports - Language is everything

 My wife and I were have a discussion about whether or not e-sport aka playing video games is really a sport.  E-sports is a way for geeks, nerds and couch potatoes to feel like they’re engaging in athletic competition by sitting in front of a computer screen controlling a character with a game controller. Where is the sport in that?  There isn’t any sport in that. It may be competition but it’s not a sport.  

In the dictionary sport is defined as an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.  Sitting in a chair operating a game controller with your fingers is not what I consider an activity involving physical exertion.  It may involve dexterity and skill but not physical exertion.

As our conversation progressed my wife said the definition of words evolve over time and pointed to the word gay.  Gay's "dated" definition is light hearted and care free.  The "contemporary" definition of gay is being romantically attracted to members of one's own sex.  

My response was like the definition of woman - like how the traditional definition is an adult female human being.  The contemporary definition of woman has been bastardized to include people with penis's (men) identifying as female human beings.  Those aren't women - they're dudes pretending to be women.

Just like an e-sports competitor is not an athlete.  It's a pimple faced, fat, lazy kid with glasses sitting in a chair in front of a tv screen playing a video game in the dark.  Just like me sitting on a couch writing this journal entry makes me a competitive writing athlete.  The lunacy.

There is something wrong when language's basic definitions and meanings are being altered to fit contemporary times.  Like how do you change language and the definition of words?  Reality is being twisted.  Perverted.  Is gay a nicer word than homosexual?  

Which also brings me to a friend I used to have named Bruce.  He was a 70 year old man and decided he is a woman and had his dick cut off and changed his name to Karen.  I wonder if he considers Bruce to be his dead name?  Bruce has a sometimes interesting blog and occasionally writes about women's rights and discrimination. He's not writing about women's rights and discrimination - he's writing about trans rights and discrimination under the guise of women's rights and discrimination.  He's writing about discrimination but not the way he proclaims.  He's a liar and a fraud.

I guess that's no worse than me writing from the perspective of a modern day Jesus.  Neither one of them make any sense other than, I don't know, to provide entertainment.  Hmmmm.
