Ford's Jim Farley
Ford's Jim Farley is calling on American's do rally behind electric vehicles stating they are superior and are super smooth with great acceleration. Even claiming he owns an F150 Lightening. He then claims that America needs to lead the EV market and not cede our leadership position to other countries.
Do you think Jim bought his F150 shitbox? No. Second - he wants American's to rally behind electric vehicles because no one wants them and Ford is losing 100,000USD on every electric vehicle they sell. The only way they can stop losing money is by scaling their ev production. EVs are not a superior product. They're stupid. Yeah, it has 300 miles of range when you charge at night. But I'm sure Farley has a cat 2 charger for his house, if not his own super charger. The range decreases in cold weather or when hauling a load.
Here's the deal - Ford followed Biden's lead and is losing a ton of money by doing what the government wanted instead of what the consumer wanted. Like why did Ford and every other manufacturer jump on this band wagon? It's like a Joe Biden bukaki festival.
It irritates the shit out of me that some jackass like Joe Biden can declare the future of transportation is electric and then place all these cafe regulations on traditional cars making it nearly impossible for an ICE car to meet them. Because "they" don't want people driving gas powered cars. They're bad for the environment. Yadayadayada. Maybe they wouldn't be so bad for the environment if they wouldn't stop cutting down all the trees to build roads and new neighborhoods.
Like it or not, America is built a certain way. A reliance on automobiles, a desire for freedom to move about the country at will, and the dream of owning a home. None of this is conducive to not having a car. A car is freedom.
Does anyone in government think American's want to live in high rise apartment buildings and walk everywhere? That model may work in NY, but does it work anywhere else? Maybe China or Japan?
I recently read Chevron doctrine has been overruled - thereby limiting the power of federal agency regulators. It's about time. These unelected bureaucrats placing laws and restrictions on the books without voter approval has been an abuse of power for nearly 50 years. It's time to stop and I am pleased the Supreme Court has ruled to repeal the power unelected bureaucrats have been reeling onto American's for decades. No more EPA garbage coming from Jennifer Granholm. No more racial injustice nonsense coming from Pete Butigeg or Janet Yellen. No more willfully breaking immigration laws by Mayorkas. These people need to be reigned in and the Supreme Court agrees. Maybe our institutions aren't broken. They've just become bureaucratic machines that accumulated power little by little until they had a lot. Now their dicks have become too big for their britches and someone's cutting them down to size.
