When it happens

John Williams announced cancellation of his Berlin performance scheduled for June. Every performance on the roster has been cancelled for the last 12 months.

Mr. Williams has been having health issues for at least a year. His last public appearance was with the LA philharmonic a month or so ago. He seemed happy to be there and was confined to a wheelchair.

I'm sitting here listening to John Williams marine band cd. A wave of sadness comes over me mixed with feelings of delight and awe of how his work has enriched my life.

It will be devastating when his life on earth ends. Thankful for all the enjoyment he has given me. Literally a lifetime of pleasure and enjoyment in each note.

WTH

I can't trust anyone who doesn't accept the reality of them being a man or a woman. This topic isn't for debate. They are incompetent in self awareness. They're incapable of being trusted with any other information.

Way to spend a flight

On the way home I watched the first movie for entertainment that I've probably see. Since Indiana jones 5 came out.

The movie was when Harry met sally.its
Probably been 25 years since first viewing. All I can say is what a treat. Thoroughly enjoyed the story and the moments in the story that gave me goosebumps. Can't remember what they were in the momen but I enjoyed them as the story unfolded.

They don't make k movies like that anymore. That's a really too bad.

Might have to watch city slickers again. Same era. Good stuff.

With no interest whatsoever of going to work. More calls. More metrics. Tomorrow travel to foreign land for conference. I can't wait.

Defective Disposition

I wish by brain was different.  My automatic response to meeting or seeing someone is to dislike them.  To wonder what they want from me and what their motivations are in talking to me.  I do not believe in friendly conversation.  I do not like strangers and am not really interested in hearing what other people have to say.

This gets worse when I am alone.  Then my brain gets stuck on a subject and beats it to the ground.  To the point of being unhealthy.

I don't like my name.  I think I'm just going to start telling people to call me "Cheeto."  Not K and not B.  Just Cheeto.

I don't like this quality in myself.  Is it caused by a brain defect?  A defect of the heart or soul?  

I don't assume other people are good or kind.  I assume they are assholes or losers.  Especially if they have facial hair, blue/purple/pink or purple hair or tattoo.  It doesn't matter if they're male or female.   I also despise people with septum piercings.  Or piercings below their lower lip.  Or in their eye brow.  What's is wrong with them?

I don't like trans people.  Or gender fluid.  Or whatever.  It's so bad that I can't stand listening to Danny Elfman anymore.  Because he's a freak.  His friend Tim Burton is off, too.  They're both eccentric.

Failed the country

The press has completely failed the country during the Biden administration. Books being published about Biden's decline and ultimate incompetence.

The press is supposed to be unbiased. The press at one time considered trheir job to be holding people accountable and doing investigative reporting.

During the Biden administration the press failed. They became a propaganda machine. They boosted their candidate and literally lied about Joe Biden's decline. Don't believe your lying eyes. He's the best he's ever been. Sharp as a tack. The smartest guy in the room.

The press failed the country, the citizenry and themselves. It should have been apparent when Joe briefly installed a minister of truth circa 1984.

A national tragedy. Despicable on every front. The press has no allegiance to truth or impartiality. Disappointing.

At least the new press secretary is playing hard ball and retaliating against those who report lies by limiting their access to the president and the briefing room. The minimal expectation of the press is the tell the truth. Some of them are incapable.

Hospitalis

It's been a week since I got out of the hospital. Upon thinking about it I was in the hospital two years ago, too. That's two hospital visits in two years. I don't want to go to the hospital again.

Everything I normally eat is on the naughty list. I rarely eat anything on the approved list. Well…. That's changing.

I am not going to eat fried food. I pretty much eliminated caffeine. I am eliminating red meat. I'm eating oats, fruit, vegetables, chicken, rice. I'm walking regularly. I'm eating earlier. I'm eating less. Trying to create a caloric deficit.

I didn't have the prescriptions filled. I stopped taking existing prescriptions.

I'm drinking less water. When I was in the hospital I was told I was dehydrated. Not possible. Told I drink too much water and my body is third spacing. That means water is being purged with no nutritional content being extracted. Water logged myself.

Have Dr appointment tomorrow with GP. Ought to be interesting.

My wife is surprised I'm making changes to diet. And she brings in food I'm not supposed to eat. Just because I can't have it doesn't mean other people can't have it. Disturbed by her bringing in food I traditionally like to eat when she knows I'm trying to make a positive change in my life. I guess we will see who is stronger mentally.

My traditional way of altering diet was to not bring bad stuff in the house. I guess that didn't work. So now I will practice mental discipline.

FM radio

This night is the best night to listen to the radio. Now playing is the 'old school' country station. I've been listening for an hour and every song has been great. No phone. No internet service. No streaming. Just listening to the radio for a nice night of pleasant entertainment and relaxation.  The classics. King George. Garth. Alabama. Alan. A night of good ol country music telling stories of life and love.  

I hope FM radio lives beyond me and hope that my kids someday realize they don't need a computer or phone to be entertained. Just a radio.
