 Lalaland records oh how I love you and oh how I loathe you.  A new John Williams hook release that is more comprehensive than their original expanded release. The new one is the ultimate release. What comes next?  The mega release?   I’m a sucker for anything and everything John Williams. Lalaland knows this to be true. There are worse things I could spend money on.  And they also released the mask of zoro by James Horner. An interesting score with a Spanish flair. Done.  Oh lalaland. How I love the work you do.  Thank you. 

Authority has a credibility problem. The government no longer lets people make decisions for themselves. The government they know better than the people they represent and that is a problem.  It all started with Covid. Anyone who bought into that nonsense is stupid. They talked like humanity was going to be exterminated over an airborne virus akin to the flu. That was not the case. Instead they destroyed the economy through their stupid shelter in place policy and pumping money into the economy because people couldn’t work. The more money pumped into the economy, the less valuable it becomes and inflation sets in. We still haven’t recovered.  I also think the war on fossil fuels is misguided at best and the high cost of energy is what the administration wants to curb use and reduce emissions. It’s a way to force people to change their behavior by making their current behavior cost more. It’s a penalty.  New flash. Oil is energy and oil was put on this planet to burn....

 I was listening to NpR in the car today and they were talking about the climate emergency and how it affects people in poverty stricken communities and the best way to help those people in these devastated areas is to give them cash because they are the best stewards of their resources to fix their situation. Notice anything about that?  Cash payments are the best thing we can do for them.  There’s no climate emergency. There’s a poverty emergency and this entire conversation reeked of wealth redistribution.   Am I the only one who hears that in their messaging?  

 Got to the airport early this morning. Little kids wearing pajamas for early morning departures. Sometimes I’d like to wear pajamas to the airport.
